24 October Concert of Pavel Vintrlik
On Friday at 5:00 pm, the Wellness Pension Marta in Kuklík will open with a performance by a multi-instrumentalist from Mikulov, who will guide you through the musical world using guitar, saxophone and harmonica. Pavel Vintrlík specializes in Moravian folklore, but his repertoire also includes various other musical styles and unexpected surprises. His greatest strength is his ability to adapt - he performs alone, can play on stage or among the audience, sings with harmonica and likes to involve the audience in singing together. On guitar he plays mostly popular Czech songs that are well-known and people like to sing them. The evening will offer well-known hits, his own compositions and improvisations, close contact with the audience and a great atmosphere, which will be highlighted by delicious food.
24 Oct. Trail of Courage
Škrdlovice is once again preparing its popular Trail of Courage, which will take place this year on Friday from 18:15. The starting point is traditionally at Chalupa Sedmička No. 7, from where the brave participants will set off on a mysterious trail full of ghosts and surprises. First, younger children will take to the trail and can bring flashlights or lanterns to light the way. On the trail, they will find an atmosphere full of suspense, magical lighting and fairy tale characters that may not be quite of this world... The event promises an evening of fun, laughter and the little scares that simply belong to autumn and Halloween.

24 October Concert of One Hundred Animals
On Friday, the Kulturní dům in Nové Město na Moravě will be transformed into a place full of energy, laughter and irresistible rhythm - the legendary band Sto zvířat will arrive as part of their annual tour "Thirty-five". This popular ska band is celebrating a respectable 35 years on the music scene and has brought its fans the best of its extensive career. Audiences can look forward to unforgettable hits such as There's never been anything a Armpits, but also a few rare tracks that you won't normally hear at concerts. Famous for their infectious energy, witty lyrics and dance-filled atmosphere, the Hundred Animals promise an evening of music, memories and endless fun. The concert starts at 8pm - come and enjoy a show that is sure to get you on your feet.
25 Oct. Crusader haunting
On Saturday at 3:00 pm, the Stodola Community Centre in Křižánky will be transformed into a scene where fairy tales, ghosts and autumn magic meet. The traditional Křižánky Haunting event, organised by the Czech Women's Union Křižánky, invites all visitors young and old to an afternoon of creativity and fun. Children can enjoy face painting, spooky tattoos and art workshops where they will create unique autumn decorations. During the afternoon, we'll hear spooky tales from the attic that will entertain and maybe even slightly frighten, and there will be an exhibition of drawings from local children that capture their vision of the world of ghosts and ghouls. The more adventurous participants can embark on a trail of challenges and mysteries around the Manor House, while others can dance at a spooky disco full of competitions. Finally, from 18:00, the village will be lit up with lanterns during the lantern parade. Spooky costumes are welcome - the more imaginative the better!

Crusader Haunting
25 Oct Halloween at the office
On Saturday from 16:30 the Municipal Office in Lhotka u Žďár nad Sázavou will be transformed into an autumn place full of colour, laughter and light scares. The traditional Halloween at the office will bring lots of fun for the little daredevils - you can look forward to pumpkin carving, creative workshops, face painting and of course the popular trail of courage, which will test who really has courage. The atmosphere will be enhanced by an evening fireside where you can roast goodies, warm up and share the day's experiences. Children can bring their own pumpkin or purchase one on site - but we recommend arriving early as supplies are limited. Entrance fee is a symbolic 50 CZK and good mood is guaranteed.
25 October New Town Farmers' Market
On Saturday between 8:00 and 12:00, Vratislav Square in Nové Město na Moravě will once again be filled with a popular farmers' market. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of quality local food and artisan products from local suppliers. Meat products, dairy products, baked goods, seasonal fruits and vegetables, honey, beer from the Nové Město brewery Hejkal and many other delicacies will be available. You can also look forward to the presentation of the Regional Food of the Vysočina Region, which includes a tasting of award-winning products.

25 Oct. Pumpkin creation at Medlova
On Saturday from 15:00, the area of the Hotel Medlov near Fryšava under Žákovou hora will be transformed into a place full of pumpkin art for the whole family. Children and adults will have the chance to carve their own pumpkin, create Halloween decorations and enjoy the autumn atmosphere with the smell of candles and cinnamon. The creative afternoon will culminate at 6:00 pm with a lantern parade that will pass through the park around the hotel. This parade will also be the last farewell to the animals of the fairy trail and the symbolic putting of Blackberry the elf to hibernation. Don't forget to bring lanterns, costumes and good cheer - you're in for a wonderful autumn experience and a bit of magical haunting!

25-26 October Pumpkin. What we plant, we reap
This weekend, the Žďár nad Sázavou Castle will be transformed into an autumn magic full of colours, scents and creative activities. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy a rich programme for the whole family - from traditional pumpkin carving, to painting pumpkin houses, to unique imprints of summer rings on cotton bags, T-shirts or tablecloths that you bring. Creative woodworking will transform any leftover into an original product; make an autumn wreath or lanterns that will be lit during the "Wandering for Light" evening parade around the castle grounds with artistic light installations on Saturday evening at 6:00 pm. Throughout the weekend, there is an autumn market with produce from local producers, outdoor board games such as Checkers, Sheepman or Duck made from wooden sticks, apple roasting on the fire and a unique "My Footprint" game that will take you through the wider castle grounds and get you thinking about sustainability issues. The newly prepared interactive tour "Harvesting the fruits of our past" will take you 800 years back in time and introduce the management of KINSKÝ Žďár, which is based on the principles of nature-friendly forestry.

25-26 October Halloween in Chicland
Halloween in Šikland is one of the scariest and most fun events of the autumn holidays in the Highlands. During the weekend, the western town of Šiklův mlýn near Zvole nad Pernštejnem will be transformed into an illuminated world of pumpkins, magic, ghosts and witches, where everyone will find their own. Visitors can look forward to a weekend of spooky workshops, western shows, lantern parades, Halloween cinema and evening discos. The most daring can take the popular Union Pacific horror train ride or brave the trail of courage with its various levels of scares. Younger attendees can try kite flying, horseback riding or create their own mask. There will also be contests for best costume, a family monster ball and the chance to transform yourself with costume rentals and face painting. The event is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the evening hours. Halloween in Chicland is a great opportunity to spend a fall weekend full of adventure, laughter and a little bit of scares - and in a Wild West atmosphere you won't experience anywhere else.

25-28 October Autumn holidays at Draxmoor
From Saturday to Tuesday, every day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, the Draxmoor Haunted Castle in Dolní Rožínka will open its gates to all fearless visitors who want to experience a good portion of spooky fun during the autumn holidays. This historic building with more than 500 years of history, boasting original vaulted ceilings, offers three spacious floors with fascinating haunted exhibitions, a 3D cinema, a haunted elevator and a castle courtyard where you can admire a fairy-tale house on chicken legs and statues of famous fairy-tale characters. After the tour, you have the opportunity to enjoy stylish autumn drinks and the popular Disgusts in the courtyard buffet. A special day will be dedicated to the scarecrows. The exhibitions will be better lit, no scarecrow will surprise you, you will only meet good creatures.

26. 10. The Labubu Show
On Sunday at 14:30, the Sokolovna in Žďár nad Sázavou will be transformed into a magical place where you will meet your favourite characters from the Labubu show, who will lead children into a world full of fun and competitions. You can look forward to a cheerful children's disco, face painting, a photo booth and a photo shoot with mascots who will bring lots of joy. On entry, each child will receive a raffle ticket for a large plush Labubu. A good atmosphere and happy tummies are taken care of. The whole afternoon will be led by a dynamic MC and his helpers who will ensure that no one is left without entertainment.
26 Oct Theatre About the Devil
The Municipal Theatre in Žďár nad Sázavou invites all young and old visitors to the fairy tale "About the Devil" on Sunday at 3:00 pm - a funny and touching story about the fact that the devil can have a good heart. The devil Florimon is sent to earth to harm the chimney sweeps, but soon discovers that evil brings him no joy. When he slips off the roof one winter's day, his view of the world begins to change. You can look forward to a fairy tale full of humour, songs and magical moments that will show children that good is always more powerful than evil - and that everyone deserves a second chance.

27 October Gala concert of Dalibor Janda
On Monday at 19:00, the House of Culture in Žďár nad Sázavou will be transformed into a place for celebratory hits of the Czech pop rock legend - Dalibor Janda, who celebrates 45 years on the music scene this year. Together with his band Prototype, he will bring to Žďár a gala concert packed with unforgettable melodies, emotions and energy. Visitors can look forward to timeless songs such as "Hurricane", "Where are you", "Live like a stuntman" and "Fire, water, wind", which have accompanied generations of listeners. Janda's charismatic delivery and his distinctive raspy voice, backed by a top-notch band and light show, promise an evening of nostalgia and euphoria. Come and sing with one of the most important Czech hitmakers of all time and celebrate his musical anniversary in style.

27 Oct. Lullaby with parade of lights
In Ujčov, many lights will be lit up on Monday from 4 pm at the popular event Lullaby of the Bugs. The event will start at the community centre, where children will make lanterns and bugs, and then a lantern parade will go through the village with musical accompaniment. At the end, everyone will take part in a joint lullaby singing, children can enjoy small gifts and there will be hot tea and refreshments to warm everyone up. Bring good cheer and a light - a magical autumn evening can begin.
27-29 October Autumn holidays in the glassworks
If you are interested in glass art, you can see skilled glassmakers at the Karlov Svoboda Glassworks from Monday 27 October to Wednesday 29 October. During the autumn holidays at the glassworks, you can visit the Jaroslav Svoboda Gallery, the glassworks and the extensive sample room, which contains more than 1,500 exhibits. As part of the excursions, you can try painting on glass or on a glass. Under expert supervision, you will be able to paint on prepared glass either according to stencils or your own imagination, and you will take away a unique souvenir from your visit to the glassworks.

28 Oct. Sokol Run of the Republic
On the national holiday, the Sokol Run of the Republic takes place in Nové Město na Moravě from 12:00 to 15:00 - a sporting event that brings together runners of all ages in the spirit of tradition, movement and the joy of celebrating the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia. The start and facilities of the race will be located at the swimming pool, from where adults will set off on a 7-kilometre route through the picturesque countryside through Pernovka and back around Černá skála. Children can look forward to shorter routes through meadows and forest trails - the youngest participants will run 500 metres, the older ones 1 kilometre. After the run, everyone will receive a starting medal in the shape of the Republic, refreshments and a pleasant atmosphere, which will be enriched by an accompanying programme for children. The race will culminate with the announcement of the winners at approximately 15:00.
29 Oct Trio Bohémo
On Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the attic of the Horácké galerie in Nové Město na Moravě, a concert will take place as part of the NMNM Podium series, featuring the internationally renowned Trio Bohémo. This trio of young Czech artists - violinist Matouš Pěruška, cellist Kristina Vocetková and pianist Jan Vojtek - is one of the most important chamber ensembles of today, regularly winning awards at prestigious European competitions and on international stages. Their concert will offer a varied and emotional programme: from Franz Schubert's lyrical Notturno, through Antonín Rejcha's brilliant Piano Trio in A major, to Antonín Dvořák's famous Dumky, which is considered the pinnacle of Czech chamber music.
